Comcast executives in Orlando, FL, officially announced the arrival of Super Nintendo World to Universal Orlando’s upcoming Epic Universe theme park.
As reported by WESH, the mentioned theme park in Orlando will not open until 2023. Universal is close to opening Super Nintendo Land at Universal Studios Japan during the summer, just in time for the upcoming Olympics there.
“I think the next big thing on the horizon is Nintendo. Nintendo, based on our research is one of the biggest potential drivers of attendance that you could have of any kind of I. P. It’s up there with Harry Potter,” a Comcast executive said.
For Central Florida residents, the new theme park will create 14,000 new jobs. The construction is taking place southeast of I-Drive and Sand Lake Road, close to the Orange County Convention Center.
