VVVVVV celebrates 10th anniversary with open-source version at GitHub

At Awesome Games Done Quick, game creator Terry Cavanaugh announced his platformer title VVVVVV is going open-source starting today.

The desktop and mobile versions of the game’s source code are currently available here for interested gamers.

According to his blog post, Cavanaugh says “VVVVVV is such an important game to me, I barely even know where to start. I wanted to do something special to mark the occasion: so, as of today, I’m releasing the game’s source code!”

The game has been a success and it has been ported to various platforms, including Windows, Switch, OS X, Linux, 3DS, PS Vita, iOS, Android and others.
