Two great Sega franchises from the 1980s will make a return later this month as Shinobi and Fantasy Zone become the next two games coming to the SEGA AGES line-up on the Nintendo Switch on January 23, 2020.
Before Sonic, one of Sega’s popular characters was Joe Musashi in Shinobi. According to Sega, “he has been sent on a mission to single-handedly find and rescue all the children of the Oboro clan who have been kidnapped by a criminal syndicate known as ZEED.”
This upcoming version of the challenging game will give Musashi ” extra health and damage, and an added Melee button that lets you dispatch enemies up close and personal.” A reverse time feature will also be included.
Meanwhile in Fantasy Zone, players must “defeat enemies to collect coins and power up (space warrior) Opa-Opa in order to rescue the world of Fantasy Zone.”
Both titles will be on sale on the Nintendo Switch eShop in Europe and the Americas for $7.99.
