The Witcher 3 breaks new Steam record with 100K+ concurrent players

After the success of Season 1 of The Witcher series on Netflix, CD Projekt’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt video game broke a record of its own at Steam with more than 100,000 concurrent players enjoying the game since its original May 2015 release.

According to Steam Charts, the 100K record was achieved yesterday, January 1st. It became the first time ever the game has reached the 100K mark. The game is still holding on strong against newer titles. Its all-time peak so far is currently at 101,930.
