New Sonic Film trailer introduces Baby Sonic

A recently-released trailer for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie introduces a very unexpected Sonic, a Baby Sonic that is.

As seen in this Japanese trailer, Baby Sonic appears running around Emerald Hill Zone or Green Hill Zone before stopping to show someone a sunflower. This new footage appears during the first thirty seconds of the trailer.

What’s better than the short sequence where Baby Sonic appears is the Japanese poster. According to the @Sonic_MovieJP tweet, it’s the first time Sonic’s childhood is mentioned in the Sonic series.

After the new footage, a short sequence appears of a promotion saying that movie-goers will have the opportunity to get a free Baby Sonic key chain, while supplies last.
