MLB The Show 20 closed beta starts in January

A new MLB The Show 20 closed beta will start in January 2020, according to an announcement by Sony’s San Diego Studio.

Players interested in the closed beta can already sign up, but will have to wait until January 13 to be notified via the PlayStation Notifications menu.

If selected, players will able to start playing the beta from January 14 until January 20 at 11:59pm PT.

Among the modes players will be able to play are: Events, Battle Royale, Play with Friends, and DD vs CPU.

One important advice is not to stream, share video, or picture of the beta, as it can lead to suspension from the beta and possibly from release versions of the game.

MLB The Show 20 will be the last PlayStation-exclusive title, as it will be released into other consoles starting in 2021.
