GameRankings.com to shut down on December 9

After 20 years, GameRankings.com, a website that aggregates video game review scores from online and offline sources, will cease operations and redirect users to the Metacritic game site.

With the shutdown of the website, owned by CBS, “the entire GameRankings.com team will continue our mission to create informative game review content and bring reviews of classic games to Metacritic,” says a post on the site. The post does not state the reason for the closure that will be on Monday, December 9.
