Earlier today, Atlus announced the release date for Persona 5 Royal. While fans in Japan have been enjoying the game since October, gamers everywhere else have been waiting for a release day announcement. That day came today. Mark your calendar for March 31, 2020.
P5R, an update to the 2017 RPG title, will be released as part of various bundles. Gamers who like the Persona franchise can already start pre-ordering the Phantom Thieves Edition, the Launch Edition, or others. A new character (Kasumi), a new area (Kichioji), a visit to old friends, are part of the new content.
People who pre-order the digital version of the game will get an original Persona 5 Royal theme as well as the entire Persona DLC for free.
