One Piece Stampede film earns ¥$9.3 billion worldwide

According to the official One Piece web site, the One Piece Stampede film has earned ¥$9.3 billion (US$85.1 million) worldwide in box office revenue.

On the 20th anniversary of the anime franchise, the theatrical version earned most of its revenue in Japan with ¥$5.5 billion (US$50.3 million) in ticket sales since its opening back in early August.

Outside of Japan, the film has made its debut in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Canada, France, Italy and the United States.

In the United States and Canada, the limited showing of the film earned more than US$1 million.

The One Piece Stampede anime film is also coming to Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Spain, and Germany.
