Chance The Rapper plays confused eSports reporter on SNL sketch

Last night, Chance The Rapper returned to host SNL and played the role of Lazlo Holmes, an MSG Knicks reporter filling in for an absent eSports reporter in a League of Legends tourney. However, what the confused sports reporter thought of “League of Legends” didn’t turn out to be one related to NBA All-Stars.

In this Saturday Night Live sketch, Lazlo Holmes, as an eSports reporter, has no idea of most things LoL-related that are happening while reporting.

“I guess e-Sports was what white and Asian kids were doing while black kids invented hip hop,” he said during the sketch.

Other SNL cast members who made an appearance on the sketch were: Mikey Day, Kyle Mooney, Chloe Fineman, and Bowen Yang.
