According to a press release, Bethesda has acquired Canadian mobile games dev Aplha Dog Games, known for iOS and Android games Monstrocity Rampage and Wraithbone, for an undisclosed amount.
“We are impressed by the team at Alpha Dog’s commitment to quality and depth of experience in mobile,” said Todd Vaughn, Bethesda senior vice president of development. “We’re excited to have them join the Bethesda family.”
With the acquisition, Bethesda will have a better opportunity to explore the development mobile games. Before today, Bethesda has released only two mobile games: Fallout Shelter and The Elder Scrolls: Blades.
