Fan creates Tetris mod for Overwatch Workshop

A user named Florens recently created a Tetris mod for the Overwatch Workshop community to enjoy. You heard that right, a full Tetris game can be played in Overwatch.

The mod creator for the simple-to-play and hard-to-master classic game also uses the name Ochotonida on Reddit.

While on Reddit, he said: “I used SRS (Super Rotation System) as a guide for my implementation of the rotation states and spawns. (I and O pieces spawn one more tile to the left due to how my implementation works and because I couldn’t be bothered to make an exception for those two) Wall kicks seemed rather complicated to implement, so I only implemented a very basic system that allows J, L, S and Z pieces to kick to the left or right.”
