During Minecon today, Mojang and Microsoft announced the arrival of the early access for Minecraft Earth coming in October.
Though the augmented reality game will be released first in some countries, it will be available for users in the rest of the world before the end of the year.
Certain users in five cities have already been beta tested the Android and iOS versions. However, it’s still unknown what countries will be able to download the early access first.
Currently, users of Android devices can pre-register for Early Access at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mojang.minecraftearth.
Minecraft Earth will let players build structures, explore places, collect items, fight enemies and more. For fans who have already catched pocket monsters, Minecraft Earth can be described as a mix of Pokémon GO and Minecraft.
