In the most recent beta version of Minecraft (1.13.0.15), Character Creation has become the newest feature added to the game, allowing fans to change various characteristics of their avatars.
According to the post on Minecraft.net, the mentioned feature in this beta will let fans “personalize your avatar in a number of ways, including body size and shape, limb replacement and tweaking of eyes, mouth, hairstyles and colors, facial hair and skin tones.”
Users who want to try out the beta version will be able to use more than 100 items that will be available free of charge, as well as custom accessories made by the Minecraft team that will be on sale. Also, users who get the beta will be able to import custom skins like before specifically on Windows 10 and mobile devices.
The blog post also includes lots of fixes included in this version of the game.
The beta is currently available on Android, Windows 10 and Xbox One, and it will eventually be available on iOS and Nintendo Switch.
Beware though, as “joining the beta will replace your game with a work-in-progress version of Minecraft.” Fans won’t have access to Realms nor they’ll be able to play against non-beta users. In addition, any world played while using the beta won’t be opened in previous versions of the game; it’s recommended to “make copies of worlds to prevent losing them.”
