According to Sensor Tower, Pokémon Masters, developed by DeNA, has earned over $25 million in its first week of launch.
Though it may be hard to top Pokémon GO, which continues to be first among the Pokémon mobile apps, the newest mobile game’s revenue got second place among all titles on Android and iOS.
The revenue generated by Pokémon Masters, $26 million, came to close to half of Pokémon GO’s which generated $56 million during its first week of release in the US, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, and Great Britain combined.
As seen in the graph, Pokémon Masters has performed much better than Pokémon Quest, Pokémon Magikarp Jump, and Pokémon Rumble Rush during their debut week.
Most of the earnings for Pokémon Quest comes from Japan as players there spent close to $16 million out of the $26 million.
As for the mobile platform that got the most downloads for the game was iOS with 72%; the remaining downloads were for Android devices with 28%.
Will Pokémon Masters become another money-maker game for The Pokémon Company and DeNA? Pokémon GO generated $110 million in revenue this past month of August.
