Director Dan Trachtenberg leaves Uncharted’s film project

According to Deadline, Dan Trachtenberg has left Sony PlayStation Films’ Uncharted project. Trechtenberg joins four other directors who joined and then left the planned film project.

The post at Deadline says the the studio is currently looking for a replacement quickly that should be hired by the end of the summer season.

Sony PlayStation Productions is planning to start film production early next year, still with Tom Holland as a young Nathan Drake.

If there are no more delays, the film could hit theaters on Dec. 18, 2020.
