After releasing two free games for a week for the first time, the Epic Games Store has enabled the cloud save feature for Moonlighter and This War of Mine.
Fans of the digital store were already expecting the arrival of two titles per week for the very first time, as part of a promotion. Because one title is rated M, Epic Games decided to release another game for people of all ages to play.
However, the cloud save feature, offered by Steam and other similar services, was completely absent from EGS for all games on PC since the service launched. It was one of the many expected features to be added this month, as seen on the EGS roadmap.
Earlier today, Reddit user u/Henrysk posted on the Epic Games PC subreddit a photo of the Moonlighter game setting showing “Enabled Cloud Save” along with options. Later, Epic Games CEO and founder Tim Sweeney received a tweet from a @ShyXLFT who asked him if cloud saves are live on EGS. He responded with: “Cloud saves are enabled for a couple of new games right now. We have a bit more work to do before rolling it out more widely.”

Also, Reddit user u/aroloki1 stated he checked if all his 20+ games had that feature but only two of them had it available.
There’s no specific info for as to how much longer it will take for all games to have cloud save enabled. It’s been the much-needed feature fans and developers have wanted Epic Game Store to offer.
