Gears V Versus Multiplayer starts on July 19

While fans can’t wait for September 10 to start playing the next chapter of Gears of War, they’ll be able to take a look at the game’s technical test as Gears V Versus Multiplayer starts on July 19.

For fans who want to try out the technical test, they’ll have to download it two days before, on July 17 starting at 10 pm PDT, by searching for “Gears 5”. The online play will start on July 19 at 10 am PDT through July 21, and once again from July 26 (at 10 am PDT) through July 29.

Players will be able to play a variety of versus multiplayer modes including Escalation (updated version of the game’s competitive gameplay), Arcade, King of the Hill, and Bootcamp. Also, the Tour of Duty will let players compete in a series of challenges to earn content; players will be awarded with an exclusive Tech Test Banner by completing all the challenges.

Before you download the technical test if you are going to use PC instead of the Xbox One, make sure it meets the recommended specifications, as seen on this post.
