As the game’s release approaches, Nintendo released a new Dr. Mario World trailer showing Multiplayer mode for the very first time.
Just like the first time Dr. Mario made its debut on the NES, this mobile version follows many similar gameplay mechanics seen early in Tetris. What’s new here in the social media integration of not just Facebook but also of Line, a growing instant messenger service popular in Asia & Latin America as well as Japan’s most popular messaging app. Nintendo has co-developed this game with Line and NHN Entertainment.
Among the characters seen in the gameplay were Princess Peach removing a row.
Dr. Mario World is coming to Android and iOS on July 10. As with Super Mario Run, the upcoming game will be free-to-play and will include optional in-game purchases.
