In front of a large crowd of eSports fans, 100 Thieves won the Call of Duty World League Anaheim Cup yesterday. The latest triumph now represents the team’s second victory of the 2019 CWL season.
This time around, 100 Thieves was able to defeat Gen.G, OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan, due in part to the remarkable play of Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat; he was named the tourney’s MVP.
Also at the event, Mindfreak became the amateurs champion from among 100 participating teams.
Now, both teams 100 Thieves and Mindfreak have won competitions back-to-back. They both had won titles at the CWL London tournament.
