Sony already has years of experience among the gaming titans offering a game streaming service (PlayStation Now), meanwhile newcomers Microsoft and Google are about to make their debut later this year. So, among platform-makers, what is Nintendo going to do about it?
According to TechCrunch, Nintendo of America exec Charlie Scibetta said “streaming is certainly interesting technology.” He later added, “Nintendo is keeping a close eye on it and we’re evaluating it. We don’t have anything to announce right now in terms of adopting that technology. For us, it’s still physical and it’s digital downloads through our eShop.”
Though it took some years for Nintendo to get into VR gaming after Sony, will it take a while longer for the Big N to get into gaming streaming for Nintendo Switch users, or will the company focus on something else?
