Legendary comic book creator Stan Lee, who brought to life marvelous superheroes, has passed away in Los Angeles at age 95, his daughter J.C. Lee told TMZ.
According to celebrity news website TMZ and Lee family attorney Kirk Schneck, the legendary Stan Lee was taken early Monday morning to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he later died. He had already suffered illnesses in the last year, including pneumonia, as well as problems with his sight. The cause of Lee’s death remains unknown.
J.C. said: “My father loved all of his fans. He was the greatest, most decent man.”
Stan Lee created characters with special abilities and powers who struggled in life just like everyone else.
