As the gaming industry grows and expands, various video game non-profit organizations from North, Central and South America have united to form the first-ever LatAm Video Games Federation. Though the idea for the federation was born in 2015, this year 2018 has become the launching point for such an organization to represent hundreds of game developers from the Latin American gaming community.
As seen on its web site launched last month, LatAm VGF represents “the companies, studios and entrepreneurs dedicated to the development, promotion and growth of the video game development industry” in the Latin American market.
Among the non-profit organizations that have joined LatAm VGF:
ADVA – Asociación de Desarrolladores de Videojuegos Argentinos (ADVA)
BGD – Bolivian Game Developers
Abra Games – Associação Brasileira dos Desenvolvedores de Jogos Digitais
VG Chile – Chilean Association of Videogame Development Companies
COVA – Colombian Videogames Association
ASODEV – Asociación de Desarrolladores de Videojuegos de Costa Rica
AVES – El Salvador Video Game Association
AMDV – Asociación Mexicana de Videjuegos
CVA Perú – Compañías de Videojuegos Asociadas del Perú
