Atari unearths Night Driver for iOS and Android

Atari has announced the upcoming worldwide release of Night Driver, a new version of the 1976 racing arcade game. Developed by Gameaholic, the mobile title brings back one of Atari’s dormant franchises back to life.

Canadian gamers can already download the game at their country’s Google Play and Apple App Store.

According to Google Play, the free-to-play title will let players “unleash nitrous boosts to go full throttle through exotic locations at night from city freeways to coastal resorts as you navigate through traffic and other obstacles on ever-changing roadways.”

The images and trailer will remind veteran players of the luxury sports cars and art style from the 1980s.
