A fantastic, classic RPG game returns after 14 years as Square Enix announced today a Secret of Mana remake is coming to PS4, PS Vita, and PC in 2018.
The remake, scheduled for worldwide release on February 15, will feature high-definition 3D graphics, voice-over, upgraded gameplay, and a new arranged musicial score.
For those unfamiliar with the game, Secret of Mana tells the story of Randi, Popoi and Primm “as they battle a treacherous empire in order to reclaim the power of Mana and bring the world back to order.”
The original title was released back in 1993 for the Super Nintendo, but as of now, a Nintendo Switch release has not been announced.
Interested gamers who pre-order the upcoming title from the PlayStation Store will get a special Moogle Suit costume for Randi, a Tiger Two-Piece costume for Primm, a Tiger Suit for Randi and Popoi, and three PSN avatars. Steam players who buy the Day 1 Edition within a week of the launch will get the three mentioned costumes and a downloadable wallpaper.
