Microsoft, ASUS and Hyper X are teaming up to bring weekly League of Legends events to Microsoft Stores starting August 26th.
Via Xbox Wire, Microsoft announced the partnership among the companies to invite gamers of every skill level to sign up either individually or with a team to participate in a single-elimination competition tourney.
Interested gamers can already sign up at http://www.aka.ms/rogarena for the Republic of Gamers Arena tourney and play League Unlocked, “a premium experience made available for official League of Legends partners and live events.”
Also, on August 26 at the Microsoft Store at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles, ASUS and Microsoft will host a special launch event for players to meet personalities like Twitch streamer Pokimane and members of Echo Fox’s League of Legends team Froggen and Brandini.
ASUS is one of the largest computer hardware vendors offering laptops powerful enough for PC games and virtual reality, including the ROG G752VS gaming laptop. Kigndom HyperX, known for flash memory, is bringing its Cloud II headsets to the tourney.
