This morning, Nintendo announced the launch of the SNES Classic Edition mini console, coming to stores on September 29 for US$79. After the sought-after and discontinued NES Classic, Nintendo will bring back some of the best games of the 16-bit generation such as Super Mario World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
For the release of the SNES Classic, the mini console will come with an HDMI cable, two wired SNES Classic controllers, and a USB charging cable with an AC adapter. With the pair of controllers included, it will be easy for fans to enjoy games such as Contra III and Street Fighter II: Turbo Hyper Fighting.
What most people were not expecting was the arrival of Star Fox 2, a title that was fully completed but never released due to the already-planned arrival of the Nintendo 64.
