Bandai Namco announced via its web site earlier today that Arc System Works is developing Dragon Ball Fighters, a 2.5D fighting game coming early 2018 worldwide to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam on Windows PCs.
The upcoming game will feature a three-versus-three team battle system, letting players “to determine the compatibility between characters and form a team of fighters,” according to Gematsu.
Though the press release that was unintentionally revealed by Bandai Namco ahead of time did not show a roster of characters; it just shows two pictures that includes Goku, Vegeta, Cell, Majin Buu, and Frieza. The leaked press release was supposed to be shared with the Japanese media on June 12, but the company removed it today. Gematsu did get a backup of it.
The web site https://www.dba.bn-ent.net shall work starting June 12 right after the announcement at E3 2017.
Arc System Works is well-known for developing game franchises such as BlazBlue and Guilty Gear.
