Nintendo announces four Fire Emblem games

During today’s Nintendo Direct, the Japanese company finally announced three Fire Emblem games, Nintendo’s strategy RPG franchise, with one title for smartphones, two titles for the Nintendo Switch, and two titles for Nintendo 3DS (one of them only for New 3DS).

Fire Emblem Heroes – The first original strategy RPG game for smartphones by Nintendo, designed to play in short bursts.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia – Inspired by the 1992 sequel of the original NES title known s Fire Emblem Gaiden, only released in Japan. Coming to all 3DS devices on May 19.

Fire Emblem Warriors – Coming this Fall to Switch and New Nintendo 3DS systems. Based on the gameplay style of Koei Tecmo Games’ Dynasty Warriors action games.

A new Fire Emblem title – To be launched in 2018 for Nintendo Switch
