Earlier today, Sprint announced it has become the first U.S. partner for Pokémon GO. Starting December 12th, more than 10,500 Sprint locations in the US will become special spots to expand the Pokémon GO experience.
According to the telecommunications company:
- Sprint, Boost Mobile and Sprint at RadioShack stores become a destination to collect in-game items, including Poké Balls and Eggs, to help them advance in the game.
- Players will have a go-to location where they can take Pokémon into battle against other Pokémon at Sprint-sponsored Gyms.
- Players can go to Sprint, Boost and Sprint at RadioShack locations to recharge their phones.
“This collaboration with Pokémon GO brings together two innovative, groundbreaking and creative brands that will offer Trainers greater accessibility and destinations to advance their game,” said Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure.
One great convenience is that gamers won’t have to worry about data overages due to the company’s unlimited data it offers with Unlimited Freedom with Auto Pay.
