The Game Awards 2016 honored the best of the best in the gaming industry in Los Angeles, CA. With over 20 awards, titles such as Overwatch, Pokémon GO, and Uncharted 4 were just a few of the franchises that got the recognition they deserved according to the judges who are members of the gaming media. There were even two main emotional moments at the event, including the Innovation Awards for Hideo Kojima with the short speech by Geoff Keighley, and the speech by Ryan Green about his son with terminal cancer when he received the Games for Impact award for That Dragon, Cancer.
