The popular NES franchise Blaster Master is making a comeback now that Blaster Master Zero is coming to the 3DS eShop this Spring 2017. According to Inti Create, the company acquired the rights to the original Blaster Master game from Sunsoft and has already started developing a new title for the series’ revival.
The very first Blaster Master for the NES will serve as a base, with the purposes to satisfy both gamers of the original title and new fans. What will veteran fans see in this new title? Inti Create says “new areas and bosses, and new gameplay elements such as extra sub-weapons, improved gameplay when battling outside of your SOPHIA 3rd tank, a more robust scenario, refined and expanded exploration mechanics, and more.”
Inti Create also shared the game’s story which introduces Jason Frudnick, “a genius in the field of robotic engineering.”
