Five months after its release, the popularity of the game keeps going as Overwatch surpasses 20 million registered players worldwide. Since its launch, the game has been a hit for Activision Blizzard. It was just over two months ago that the company announced the game had then surpassed 15 million registered players.
The new achievement by Activision Blizzard of surpassing 20 million registered players doesn’t mean 20 million copies have been sold. Unfortunately, Blizzard hasn’t release any detailed information about sales of the game.
Activision Blizzard also made mention of the first-ever PvE brawl Junkenstein’s Revenge. This limited-time event called Overwatch Halloween Terror is only available until November 1st on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
