Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection for PS4 and Xbox One has been spotted on South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee. A NeoGAF user shared the findings seen on the mentioned site where there are two pages, one for each console version.
Unfortunately, the description on both pages do not specify what games will make part of the collection, but fans should remember Ezio’s presence on titles such as Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations released on PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Ezio also played the main role on the iOS and DS game Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery.
Why would Ubisoft be making a collection? The film based on the franchise is coming to theaters in December, but no new game has been planned for this release this year. Perhaps Ubisoft wants to release a Collection as a way to introduce new fans to the series before the film’s debut. Ubisoft did release Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy for PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC in 2012.
