For players who have been enjoying Final Fantasy XI on old consoles, they must switch. According to PlayOnline, Final Fantasy XI ends its service for PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 today.
Now that the service has ended earlier today at 10 AM ET, players must switch to the Windows version to continue the adventure.
The transition to the PC version is easy and free. Square Enix released a detailed post of the procedure to move to Windows.
The MMORPG game made its debut almost 14 years ago on PS2 and Windows, followed by an Xbox 360 version.
Last year, Square Enix announced on its game community web site it would shut down the service for the mentioned consoles.
