Earlier this afternoon, at hours ahead of the Uncovered presentation, a GameSpot video leaked details of Final Fantasy XV ahead of the Square Enix announcement. The video, originally posted on YouTube, was first set to private, but now its page says “this video has been removed by the user.” It mentioned FFXV will be released on September 30.
GameSpot had also mentioned in the video a demo would arrive today featuring a young Noctis. Those who complete the demo will receive a Carbuncle summon; it’ll be the only way to get that item.
Independent sources had already informed gaming site Gematsu on March 12 about the mentioned FFXV release date on September 30 that will be announced at the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event.
Also, another video got released on YouTube -and is still available- of the FFXV Chinese version in which you see young Noctis in action.
The Uncovered event starts tonight at 10 PM ET / 7 PM PT.
