Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice for the 3DS will debut in September

At the Sonic 25th Anniversary panel at SXSW, Sega announced Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice for the 3DS will debut in September. The upcoming titles is the sequel for Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal, which was developed by Sanzaru Games and released in 2014. Fire and Ice was supposed to be launched originally on the fall of 2015, but it will arrive to stores on September 27, 2016.

Sega also announced the Sonic 25th Anniversary Event for July 22nd at the House of Blues in San Diego, CA. This official Sega event at the San Diego Comic-con will have “special guests, musical performances by Crush 40 and Hyper Potions.” And just like Sonic, tickets for the Anniversary event seem to be running fast; almost 200 tickets out of almost 1100 have been purchased already online.
