Nintendo will shut down the Mario Kart TV website in April

Many players are having lots of fun with the latest kart game, but sometime next month, it won’t be easy to find the highlights in one place online as Nintendo will shut down the Mario Kart TV website in April.

“The Mario Kart TV website, which lets you watch highlight videos posted from Mario Kart 8, will be closing down as of 11:00 PM PT on Monday, April 4th 2016. We are very thankful to the many people who have used this website since it launched in 2014,” says a message on https://mariokart.tv/en_us/.

Though the website will be shut down, players will still be able to upload and watch highlights they want to share with others. Also, because the shared videos are uploaded to YouTube, gamers won’t have to worry about the removal of their videos.
