Twitch announces TwitchCon 2016

Earlier today, the leading live streaming video platform for gamers announced the arrival of TwitchCon 2016. After its inaugural showing at the Moscone Center in San Francisco last year with 20,000 attendees, the San Diego Convention Center will become the new location for this year’s event, from September 30 to October 2, 2016.

“Our amazing and passionate community of broadcasters, developers and fans made the first TwitchCon a massive success,” said Emmett Shear, Twitch CEO. “This year, we will be expanding our footprint and building all new experiences to ensure TwitchCon 2016 is even more compelling.”
