Amplitude is coming to PS4 on January 5th

On its Kickstarter campaign page, Harmonix finally confirmed Amplitude is coming to PS4 on January 5th, 2016, via PSN. For Harmonix, it has been a long time. The original Amplitude video game, a sequel to Frequency, was launched in North America on March 24, 2003.

This time, the controller-based rhythm game is the return of a cult classic first seen on the PlayStation 2.

Backers who supported Harmonix with $40 or more will get to play the game first starting December 23rd, almost two weeks before the official launch of the game for everybody else who purchase it on PlayStation Network. Interested players will be able to play the game at the PlayStation Experience 2015.

Harmonix also revealed the final soundtrack of more than 30 songs:
