Naomi Scott will be the Pink Ranger in the Power Rangers reboot

According to a post on PowerRangersMovie at Instagram, Naomi Scott will be the Pink Ranger in the Power Rangers reboot. The young 22-year-old English actress and singer is best known for her role as Maddy Shannon in the sci-fi drama TV series Terra Nova and earlier as Megan in the TV series Life Bites.

Scott is the first person chosen for the main acting roles written by Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller.

The original Power Rangers TV show, created and produced by Haim Saban, is about a group of teens who are given the power to morph into super heroes with talent as martial arts fighters and as pilots of giant robots. It is based on the Japanese TV show Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger, one of the many installments of the Super Sentai franchise.

What may be in the mind of many veteran fans is if we will still see Jason David Frank playing a role in the film.
