After the passing of Satoru Iwata on July 11 of this year, the Japanese gaming company today named Tatsumi Kimishima as the new President of Nintendo Co, Ltd. (Japan), among other role changes.
With 27 years of experience (1973-2000) in the financial field at The Sanwa Bank, he joined Nintendo as Representative Director of The Pokémon Company (Dec. 2000) and later moved to other current positions inside Nintendo such as Director of Nintendo of America (Jan. 2002) and Nintendo Co, Ltd (Jun. 2002), Managing Director (Jan. 2013), Human Resources Division (Jun. 2014) and two other positions. He was also chosen for the position as Director and Chairman (CEO) for Nintendo of America in May 2006. He will take the new position as President of Nintendo on September 16, 2015 (this Wednesday).
Nintendo also announced the following role changes:

holds the role of providing advice and guidance regarding organizational operations in a specialized area (newly established on

How will these new changes affect the company? Kimishima seems to lack the professional experience as a programmer, unlike Mr. Iwata who was a game programmer/developer with corporate experience at Nintendo. However, Kimishima won’t be alone as he will get the support of Miyamoto (in gaming) and Takeda (in Technology) as Fellows.
