Sprint launches a new Family Share Pack plan

On July 31st, Sprint launched a new Family Share Pack plan, making it affordable for up to 4 users in a family to share 10GB per month. Though it is not an unlimited plan in terms of data, this plan can help families of 4 save money compared to the competition. Nowadays, additional data to communicate with families and relatives via Skype and Facebook or just sharing your adventures on the go with Periscope and Meerkat is really necessary. With this new option (which also includes unlimited talk and text), families won’t have to deal with just a few gigs during their vacations or visiting friends. Plus, for $20 more per month, Sprint offers 40GB to share per month. For families in need of saving money while getting more high-speed data, Sprint makes the process easier by paying off your still-current phone and contract to be able to switch you to their network ².

Sprint shared the following info with the press, including results from a survey showing people want more data on their mobile devices:

¹ All phones must be ported from an active wireless line at another carrier and remain active on the plan. Devices must be acquired with Sprint Easy Pay, leasing option, by paying full MSRP or by bringing a compatible phone.

³ T-Mobile plan includes Music Freedom, unlimited international text/data features, unlimited data with speeds slowed down to 2G after reaching 1GB/line high-speed data allotment. Other options available.
⁴ AT&T plans include Unlimited Texting to International numbers, Rollover Data and 50GB of Cloud Storage. Other options available.
⁵ Verizon plans include Unlimited Texting to International numbers and 25GB of Cloud Storage. Other options available.
