ZombiU is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One as Zombi

Ubisoft announced earlier today ZombiU is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One as Zombi. The upcoming Zombi game will be released digitally on August 18, 2015.

“We knew from the beginning that maintaining the tension and feel of the original was one of the main challenges, as the way ZombiU was presented on Wii U cannot be reproduced,” says Hélène Henry, the game’s producer.

There were many issues in the remake for new consoles including the field of view, control mapping and response, the location of the minimap in the screen (because in the Wii U, it was seen in the GamePad controller).

Part of the excitement in the original ZombiU was to look at the minimap on the GamePad to access the inventory with the chance of being followed by zombies.

What fans of ZombiU will miss in the upcoming version for PC, PS4, and Xbox One is the single-system multiplayer which consists of one player placing zombies in the survivor’s path.
