The Pokémon Company and Bandai Games revealed earlier today the presence of two new fighters (Charizard and Weavile) coming to the brawl as well as the intro video for the upcoming game Pokkén Tournament. In addition, two new support Pokémon were revealed, Jirachi and Whimsicott.
The presence of a strong character such as Charizard (aka Lizardon in Japan) may have been expected by fans. This time though, Charizard will be able to transform into a Mega Charizard X.
This doesn’t mean Weavile (aka Manyula in Japan) will make use of its speed and ice-based attacks.
Fans who just can’t wait should know the Japanese release of the arcade game will be July 16, 2015.
It was not confirmed if more characters will be added into the roster of combatants.
No mention yet of a US release either for arcades or the Wii U.
