Today, Slightly Mad Studios announced Project CARS 2, the sequel of racing video game released two months ago on PC and various consoles.
Known for working on racing titles such as GTR, Test Drive and Need for Speed, the developer wants to raise more money than it did the first time around.
The upcoming title, crowdfunded on the company’s World of Mass Development portal, is trying to raise almost $11 million.
Slightly Mad still has some challenges to take care of. After the recent release of the first game this past May, some fans are complaining about the company’s announcement when it should be fixing some bugs still present in Project CARS. SMS is working on updates to repair various issues, add functionality, improve frame rate (on Xbox One), among other things on Update 1.4.
