Capcom announced today the Mega Man Legacy Collection, a bundle of the first 8-bit titles featuring the fighting robot first published on Famicon and NES, coming soon to PS4, PC (Summer), 3DS (Winter), and Xbox One.
For new and veteran fans of Mega Man, the Collection will include the addition of Museum Mode and Challenging Mode.
Challenge Mode will let players remix gameplay segments from all the six titles, and experience various levels of difficulty, just right for new and experienced gamers. The original titles were very hard to play, and required lots of practice to pass every stage.
Museum Mode will feature an extensive collection of high-resolution art and concept pieces related to the history of Mega Man.
Fans attending E3 2015 next week will see and play this game in action as well as Resident Evil 0, Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition, and Street Fighter V.
Game developer Digital Eclipse is working on the digital restoration of these classic titles using its Eclipse Engine.
