Kung Fury, the 80’s-style action-packed film that includes lots of references that made that decade well known, such as hard rock, sports cars, arcade machines, cartoons, PCs and other stuff, has made its debut online and on El Rey Network.
The project by film star and director David Sandberg, which started on Kickstarter, went beyond the initial $200,000 financial support needed. With the extra money, Sandberg added Jorma Taccone (from The Lonely Island) as Adolf Hitler and David Hasselhoff (of Knight Rider and Baywatch fame) to play a small role in the short film and sing “True Survivor.”
