Nintendo announces Best Buy qualifying locations for Nintendo World Championships 2015

Nintendo has revealed today the 8 Best Buy locations for the qualifying rounds of the upcoming Nintendo World Championships 2015 at E3 2015.

Only the top player from each of the 8 regional locations will qualify for the finals at E3 2015. Also, 8 other players selected by Nintendo will also enter the competition.

To become a finalist, fans attending the tourney would play a “series of three score-based challenges” on Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, and Dr. Mario; the same games that were played on the 1990 Nintendo World Championships. These challenges are found on the Championship mode of the Ultimate NES Remix title for the 3DS.
