Marvel and Telltale Games unite for new game series

During an event today in San Francisco, Marvel announced a partnership with Telltale Games for a series of games to launch in 2017. With the success of Telltale Games bringing known TV franchises to gaming such as The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, Marvel also wants that success for its franchises and loves the narrative style of TTG.

“If it doesn’t turn heads, if it doesn’t get you excited to talk with your friends, it’s not a Marvel game. It has to command attention,” said Marvel executive producer Mike Jones.

Marvel did not make any mention of the titles Telltale Games is working on. The first title for consoles and PC will be launched in 2017.
